At last month’s Parish Council meeting, I was asked for details on the proposed transformation of children services and agreed that as soon as I had FULL details of the plan I will let them know. I had hoped to get this into the Longstanton Life, but the deadline was way before the full details became available. These provide vital services to children and their families.

Longstanton Parish Council has received the completed 2016-17 Audit documentation from the external auditor.
In accordance with the Accounts and Audit Regulations 2015 (SI 2015/234) please accept this as notification that these are available for inspection on the website under ‘documents’.

Longstanton Parish Council has been contacted by the Police & Crime Commissioner’s office asking that the following information be shared with residents of the village.
On Monday the 3rd July, the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Police and Crime Commissioner, Jason Ablewhite, launched his fire governance consultation.
All the information regarding the consultation, including a short survey, can be found using the link.
The consultation closes on 4th September 2017.
