Please see below the most recent information received from the A14 Integrated Team about this weeks road closures.  Please note in particular 18th January and the closure of the B1050.

This week’s A14 Cambridge to Huntingdon closures:

Mon 15 for one night
A14 westbound Girton (J31) to Swavesey (J28), including A1307 outbound (9pm-6am)
A1 northbound Buckden to Alconbury (9pm-6am)

Tue 16 to Fri 19
A1 northbound Buckden to Brampton Hut (each night 9pm-6am)
A14 eastbound Histon (J32), entry slip (each night 9pm – 6am)

Thurs 18 for one night
Full closure Hattons Road B1050 – between A14 J29 & School Lane (9pm-6am)
Full closure MereWay, under Kings Hedges Bridge (9pm-6am)

Sat 20 to Sun 21
Full closure Potton Rd – between St Ives Rd & A14 (Sat 7am – Sun 7pm)

We’ll be closing the A1 this week for emergency pothole repairs, during which we’ll be taking the opportunity to refresh the white lines and add back the 40mph signage on the A1 northbound past Brampton Hut. Our official diversion route will be signposted and you can find diversion maps on our social media pages (or just email us for additional copies).

This week’s A14 Cambridge to Huntingdon closures:

Mon 8 to Tue 9
A14 eastbound between Histon (J32) & Milton (J33), each night, 9pm – 6am
Full closure Mere Way, under Kings Hedges Bridge (each night, 9pm – 6am)
A1 northbound Buckden to Alconbury, to re-surface potholes, refresh white lines & add back the 40mph signs (each night, 9pm – 6am)

Wed 10 to Thurs 11
A1 southbound Alconbury to Brampton, to re-surface potholes and refresh white lines (each night, 9pm – 6am)

Wed 10 to Fri 12
A14 westbound Histon (J32), entry slip (each night, 9pm – 6am)

Fri 12 to Mon 15
Full closure Grafham Rd – between Park Road, Brampton & Van Diemen’s Way Grafham (Fri 8pm – Mon 5am)

Sat 13 to Sun 14
Full closure A1198 Ermine St – between Wood Green Animal Shelter & Barnfield Lane (Sat 7am – Sun 7pm).

Policing Precept Consultation

The Police & Crime Commissioner has asked that we share the following link with you.

The Commissioner is proposing to increase the policing part of the Council Tax by £1 per month per household – £12.00 per year (based on a Band D property).  The link above is the press release detailing information for your consideration.

Message from A14 Integrated Team:

Welcome to the first weekly update on our planned closures of 2018.

We’ve been in construction for over a year now and we’ll continue to keep you updated will traffic management information weekly, as well as provide monthly updates on our scheme’s progress.

We’re always looking at ways to improve our communications, so if you do have any feedback, please feel free to email your ideas or suggestions. You can also complete our communications survey here. It only takes about five minutes and will help us to understand what’s working and what we could improve.
