Hatton Park Primary School: School Advisory Board Member

12th October 2018

Glyn Hughes, Chairman of the School Advisory Board for Hatton Park Primary School has asked we share the following.

We are looking for people to join the School Advisory Board (SAB) for Hatton Park Primary School in Longstanton. The SAB is the governance body for the school, which is itself part of the Cambridge Primary Education Trust (CPET). SAB members’ primary responsibilities are ensuring that the school provides a safe environment for everyone and supporting and challenging the Head Teacher and his team to ensure that the school provides the best possible education for all of its pupils.

If you would like to be part of a team that is dedicated to improving the education of children in the local community, and if you have experience in providing constructive challenge in a professional context, then please get in touch. An interest in education is essential for the role. However, previous experience is not. Experience in personnel and finance can be beneficial as SAB members also sometimes sit on other CPET committees.

For more details on the role of the Hatton Park SAB, see http://www.hattonpark.org/governors/. If you would like to join the team, please contact the chair of the SAB, Glyn Hughes, on ghughes@cpetrust.co.uk
